Can I get a NATA certificate?
We offer NATA traceable certificates with all loggers. You can order and pay for the certificate when you add a product to the shopping cart.
When you order a certificate, we ask you to specify three temperatures to test the Logtag against. We recommend that you choose the minimum and maximum temperatures that you care about, plus one a little bit higher. e.g. if you are logging a vaccine refrigerator, you might choose 2°C, 8°C, and 20°C.
The certification process
Once we receive your order, we send your Logtag to an external testing laboratory.
The technician places the Logtag in a temperature-controlled chamber set to your first specified temperature and allows it time to record several measurements. They then adjust the chamber temperature to your second and third specified temperatures and repeat the process.
Once the test is complete, they retrieve the data from your LogTag and compare the recorded temperatures to the actual temperatures in the chamber.
You end up with a certificate that shows the test temperature, the recorded temperature and the error.
What if the LogTag fails the testing?
If the LogTag fails the testing, we will send a replacement LogTag for certification. There is no extra cost to you, of course.
